What Do I Do?
I’m a French-to-English translator, as well as a content writer and an expert editor. In the medical and life-sciences fields, I provide a wide variety of text-doctor services, focusing mainly on communications directed at non-physicians.
That can mean leading a reader through what will happen during their upcoming weight-loss surgery. It can mean writing a brochure clearly explaining a condition, how it is diagnosed, and how it is treated. It can mean showing independent opticians how a cutting-edge diagnostic system can give their patients the best vision care available—and make their own practices more efficient.

About Me
Bio
My parents are a (retired) radiologist and medical technologist. That meant that as a toddler, when I got hurt, I could describe it using anatomical directional terms. I’ve been comfortable in medical situations my whole life.
I wound up majoring in English, not pre-med. But I have written and edited for the life sciences since then, first as a staff reporter and then as a consultant.
When I earned my master’s degree in translation and interpreting, heavy emphasis was placed on applied linguistics in hospital and medical contexts; notably, my cohort was trained to perform public-service interpreting for the United Kingdom’s National Health Service. My thesis project was the translation of a psychiatric journal article from French into English. (I got a With Merit designation.)
Since then, I’ve been honored with the trust of organizations around Europe and the world for whom successful communication about medicine is a true vocation.
Qualifications
I hold an M.A. (With Merit) in translation and interpreting from the University of Westminster. Additionally, I’m a member of several prestigious professional bodies.

Of course, confidentiality is crucial in the medical, pharmaceutical, and device worlds. I do not disclose the names of individual clients in this area, unless I receive clear written permission to do so in advance.
